As somewhat of a "hillbilly" myself , I was curious about the title. I could relate to some of the stories as reminiscent of my early childhood. I was a little disappointed that more of the Appalachian mountains was not covered. Overall, this a good description of life in southern West Virginia as it once was.Product details

For Mountaineers and anyone who loves beautiful writing, this is a treat that will be re-read and passed along to loved ones.
